How to pay money via QR Code

Step 1

Select "Scan"

Step 2

Scan the QR code or barcode obtained from the merchant or as appeared on the invoice or as selected from the photo album

Step 3

Specify the payment amount. You may tap Krungsri logo to change your source account

Step 4

Press "Next" or add a note (if desired)

Step 5

Review the details of the transaction and press "Confirm"

Step 6

Enter you PIN

Step 7

The transaction is successful. You can save a slip, add to favorite or share it on social media

Step 8

Receive an e-Slip.

Enter your PIN

The screen will display your QR code, enabling your payer to scan and pay

QR Cross-border Scan to Pay at Foreign Merchants

This service enables Thai customers traveling abroad to make international payments using the krungsri app. Customers can scan QR codes of merchants overseas (Customer scans Business, C scan B) or display their MyPrompt QR on the krungsri app for merchants to scan (Business scans Customer, B scan C). Designed for outbound travelers from Thailand, it allows tourists to conveniently and securely pay for goods and services online and offline while abroad. This is a true digital payment solution for travelers in the digital age.

Customers using the krungsri app can pay for goods and services by scanning QR codes at various merchants in the following countries:

Service Details

Customers can make cross-border QR payments up to 100,000 baht per transaction, and up to 500,000 baht maximum per day
Once the transaction is confirmed, the bank will immediately deduct the amount in Thai baht from the customer's account, based on the exchange rate at the time of the transaction
There are no service fees
