Crab Condominium Building Activity

Crab Condominium Building Activity

Krungsri recognizes the importance of contributing to the sustainable conservation of the environment and natural resources, particularly coastal ecosystems, which are vital to biodiversity and the livelihoods of local communities living near the seashore. In 2022, Krungsri initiated the Crab Condominium Building Activity in collaboration with government agencies and local organizations, including the Mangrove Forest Resources Development Station 5 in Chonburi and the Ban Bon Conservation Group (Bang Pakong) in Chachoengsao.

This activity aims to create habitats for sea crabs and other small marine creatures by using natural or environmentally friendly materials. It supports the restoration of coastal ecosystems and promotes the growth of sea crab populations. In addition, the initiative fosters environmental and social responsibility among employees and stakeholders—encouraging participation in creating shared value with communities and society and generating tangible, sustainable environmental outcomes.

The crab condominium building activity not only fulfills the objectives above but also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 13: Climate Action, SDG 14: Life Below Water, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
