For the benefit of sustainable management of water resources and the supplement of flood prevention and alleviation, Krungsri Group has donated THB 1 million to Mae Fah Luang Foundation as a working fund to extend the check-dam building project under Doi Tung Development Project (the operation area of the royal initiative). In November, President Philip Tan led a team of Krungsri Group senior management and volunteers in their 16 check-dam building endeavor. For the past 6 years, the group has sponsored the foundation through some THB 6 million, from which a total of 2,665check-dams have resulted.
