Krungsri’s hometown conservation efforts: World Heritage Town

The Bank plays an outstanding role in national art and cultural conservation. We are confident our efforts are helping pass on Thai arts and culture to future generations via the support of the Krungsri Chronicle TV program, royal Kathin ceremonies, and our latest initiative- the preservation of Ayutthaya, Thailand’s historic town and world heritage site, which faces a huge challenge in the wake of Thailand’s recent devastating floods.

Krungsri Group continues to support its hometown province’s restoration by contributing 3.9 million baht to The Fine Arts Department. The fund will be used for 2 post-flood restoration projects. The first is for the restoration of Wat-Sam-Pluem Pagoda located right at the center of the province. The second project is for the production of419 signages at 122 historical sites to replace the old ones damaged by the flooding.
