Krungsri secures Thailand’s first winner for Best Sustainable Bank award from FinanceAsia

Bangkok (27 October 2020) – Mr. Karun Kittisataporn (right), Bank of Ayudhya Chairman, and Mr. Seiichiro Akita (left), Bank of Ayudhya President and Chief Executive Officer, celebrated the Best Sustainable Bank award granted by FinanceAsia, Asia’s leading financial publication, which made Krungsri the country’s first to win this award.

The accolade resonates Krungsri’s formidable commitment to and strong track record of sustainable banking missions and contributions, most notably the Group’s financial inclusion mandate. Krungsri’s most recent financial inclusion thrust included its trailblazing move as Asia Pacific’s first private-sector gender bond issuer.
