“68 Years of Krungsri, 68 Scholarships” weaving student’s dreams to graduation

1 April 2013

60 scholarships for kids on National Children’s Day 2014 Every second Saturday of January, Krungsri joins those who deliver happiness and cherished memories to kids on the National Children’s Day. Again this year we presented 60 scholarships to students from 10 Yannawa schools under the supervision of BMA (Bangkok Metropolitan Administration) for their exemplary behavior and morality. The presentation ceremony this year took place on the compound of Wat Dok Mai School, hosted by Yannawa District Office, on National Children’s Day.

Led by Khun Philip Tan, on the National Youth Day (September 20), Krungsri handed out continuing scholarships to 15 underprivileged youths with decent academic records and behavior under the care of Baan Mahamek Home for Boys. The scholarships would ensure that they pursue undergraduate study success—exactly our concern. We’re fully behind their pursuit of academic success!

To celebrate the 68th anniversary of Krungsri’s establishment, Krungsri held a scholarship presentation called ‘68 Years of Krungsri, 68 Scholarships’ in order to create opportunities for underprivileged youths so that they can overcome obstacles, physically, mentally as well as those to their healthy living and strive toward successful futures. Krungsri presented scholarships to 68 selected youths from 7 Bangkok youth homes. In the event, the Board of Directors, senior management, and employees mingle with youths amid an intimate atmosphere. The youths who can maintain decent academic records and practice good behavior are getting continuing scholarships of THB 5,000 a year until their graduation with a bachelor’s degree or with the best level they can muster.
