Outward International Transfer


The service enables convenient, fast, and traceable international money transfers through a global network.


This international remittance service is designed to assist customers who need to transfer funds for purposes such as payment for goods, services, or other objectives to recipients overseas. With a comprehensive global network and the bank's advanced technology, the service ensures that you can transfer money abroad swiftly, accurately, and efficiently.
Fees and Charges
Charge SHA [Shared] means that the sender is responsible for the fees of Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri) and the receiver is responsible for the fees of the foreign bank.
  • Fee: 500 THB or USD 20 per transaction.

Charge OUR [Debtor] means that the sender is responsible for both the fees of Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri) and the fees of the foreign bank. The receiver may also incur additional fees from the destination bank (if applicable).
  • Fee: 500 THB or USD 20 per transaction.
  • Additional Foreign Bank Fees by Currency:
    • Euro (EUR): Additional charge of 1,200 THB or EUR 25 per transaction.
    • Pound Sterling (GBP): Additional charge of 1,200 THB or GBP 20 per transaction.
    • Japanese Yen (JPY): Additional charge of 0.05% of the transferred amount per transaction, with a minimum of JPY 5,000.
    • US Dollar (USD) and other currencies: Additional charge of 800 THB per transaction or USD 30 or the equivalent amount per transaction.

Charge BEN [Creditor] means that the receiver is responsible for the fees of the foreign bank (Bank xx), and the bank will deduct the fees from the transferred amount. The receiver is also responsible for the fees of the foreign bank.
  • Fee: 500 THB or USD 20 per transaction.
Requirement Terms and Conditions
For transactions in an amount equivalent to USD 200,000 or above, the authorized banks need to request the customers to submit supporting documents as per Bank of Thailand's regulations except in the following cases where The Bank requires documentation to be verified for any amount, for the following transfer purposes:
  1. Sender deposits funds into their own foreign currency account(s) abroad to await for payment, deposit funds into account of a person studying abroad, or deposits into the account of the parent(s) of those studying abroad for usage of education expense/other purposes.
  2. Investment in foreign securities
  3. Other cases that the Bank must further investigate to ensure that the transaction comply with regulation specified by the Foreign Exchange Control Law of the Bank of Thailand such as Transfer for funds to donations for public benefit etc.
