SPICYDISC Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL), proudly launches the “From Waste to WOW Sustainable Sculpture Contest 2025 by Krungsri”, inviting young talents aged 15-25 to design “Nong Kluay Krungsri” (Krungsri Banana mascot) sculptures made entirely from recycled materials. Under the theme “GO Sustainable with krungsri - Nong Kluay Krungsri”, the contest aims to spark creativity and environmental consciousness, offering total prizes worth over THB 250,000. Winning works will be showcased at Sustainability Expo 2025 (SX2025) – ASEAN’s largest sustainability expo – and Melody Of Life 16, Thailand’s biggest eco-themed music festival in the heart of Bangkok. Submissions are open now until 31 August 2025.

Ms. Mingkwan Pattanawong, Krungsri Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Branding and Marketing Division, said, “Krungsri aspires to be a leading sustainable and regional bank. We believe that sustainability is no longer just an option, but a key strategic direction for long-term competitiveness and growth. Art is one of the powerful media for communicating and inspiring action on sustainability, and this contest is a way to ignite creativity in young people while encouraging them to turn waste into unique works of art. Nong Kluay Krungsri, our beloved mascot, represents the happiness that embodies our brand’s promise to ‘Make Life Simple’ for our customers as we grow alongside communities and today’s lifestyles of the new generation. This contest is considered another important step in creating a creative space that connects youth, art, and the environment — all of which are key elements in moving towards a sustainable society together.”

Mr. Pichai Chirathivat, Managing Director of SPICYDISC Co., Ltd., said, “This project is a continuation of our annual Melody Of Life Music Festival, now in its 16th year, held at CentralWorld in the heart of Bangkok. Over the years, the festival has welcomed more than 500,000 attendees across generations, combining music with art exhibitions and environmental advocacy. This year, we wanted to take our sustainability efforts further by launching the From Waste to WOW Sustainable Sculpture Contest 2025 by Krungsri. It’s a platform for Gen Z to express their creativity, develop their skills, and raise awareness about the value of protecting our planet through art.”
