Krungsri increases its fixed deposit by 0.20% and lending rates by 0.15%

Bangkok (31 January 2023) – Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL and its business units) today announced an increase in the 12-month and 24-month fixed deposit rates by 0.20% per annum and the lending rates by 0.15% per annum, effective 3 February 2023.
 
Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Seiichiro Akita, said “In response to the Bank of Thailand’s monetary policy rate increase for the fourth time on 25 January 2023, Krungsri decided to increase our 12-month and 24-month fixed deposit rates by 0.20% per annum to continue encouraging saving habits and increase returns to our customers. We also cautiously decided to gradually raise our lending rate by 0.15% per annum to align with the current market situation and still reaffirm our continuous assistance measures to help all customers groups, especially vulnerable groups, to adjust and overcome economic challenges.”
 
The Bank adjusts deposit and lending rates as follows.
  • The fixed deposit interest rates
    • 12-month fixed deposit rate is increased by 0.20% to 1.20%
    • 24-month fixed deposit rate is increased by 0.20% to 1.55%
  • The lending rates
    • Minimum Loan Rate (MLR) is increased by 0.15% to 6.630%
    • Minimum Overdraft Rate (MOR) is increased by 0.15% to 6.875%
    • Minimum Retail Rate (MRR) is increased by 0.15% to 6.800%

These rates will take effect on 3 February 2023.
