Bangkok (29 June 2026) —
Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL and its business units) and
Thailand Post Co., Ltd. today announced a strategic partnership to combine the strengths and nationwide networks of both organizations. The collaboration will accelerate the development of financial solutions and financial support businesses, such as insurance business, jointly explore collaboration on data to enhance services and support business opportunities via e-commerce, and expand access to financial services across the country safely and inclusively.
The partnership spans three strategic dimensions designed to address customer needs:
(1) Financial Solutions and Support of Insurance Business — expanding access to financial products through Thailand Post's extensive postal network and co-developing new financial and insurance offerings, particularly through its postal carrier service, to enhance customer experiences and align with customer lifestyles;
(2) Data Empowerment — jointly drawing on data-driven insights to elevate customer experience; and
(3) Network Synergy — leveraging the combined infrastructure of both organizations to generate business value while delivering maximum benefits to consumers.
Dr. Dhanant Subhadrabandhu, Chief Executive Officer and President, Thailand Post Co., Ltd., said “Thailand Post is committed to elevating its role from a postal and logistics service provider to a national digital platform and infrastructure provider. This collaboration with Krungsri marks another significant milestone in unlocking the full potential of Thailand Post's network, technology, and digital platforms to develop services that create new value for individuals, businesses, and commercial partners — while broadening access to financial services in a more convenient and inclusive manner. The partnership encompasses the exploration and development of digital financial services, the utilization of data analytics to identify and engage target customer segments, the co-creation of benefits and joint marketing initiatives, as well as the exchange of knowledge and technology — all with the aim of delivering superior customer experiences and advancing equal and universal access to financial services.”
“This collaboration brings together the strengths of two organizations. While our areas of expertise and lines of business differ, we are jointly exploring opportunities and developing new innovations to better meet customers' financial and lifestyle needs. It reflects a shared vision to extend financial access and increase financial opportunities nationwide while creating sustainable value for customers and business partners,”
said Mr. Kenichi Yamato, Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer.
Within this framework, the initial phase focuses on Network Synergy to improve operational efficiency and enhance employee benefits. A pilot program launched in late 2025 has already delivered tangible outcomes: Thailand Post's postal carriers conduct address verification for Krungsri personal loan applicants in remote areas or locations without bank branches — extending the role of postal carriers beyond parcel delivery to serve as a trusted network that significantly broadens access to financial services. The two organizations expect to generate concrete results from the three strategic dimensions by 2027.
