Krungsri and MUFG co-host the “Krungsri-MUFG ESG Symposium 2024”, an ESG international symposium led by global experts on creating and leading businesses to transition towards a sustainable future

Bangkok (30 May 2024) – Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) collaborates with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), Japan’s largest financial group and one of the world’s largest financial organizations, to host the Krungsri-MUFG ESG Symposium 2024. This event was led by Mr. Kenichi Yamato (first-row, 6th from right), Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Richard Yorke (first-row, 4th from left), Executive Officer & Head of Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Asia Pacific for MUFG Bank, alongside senior executives from Krungsri. This international symposium focuses on ESG, offering insights from global experts to drive the business sector towards a low-carbon economy and sustainability. The event is honoured by the presence of Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa (first-row, 6th from left), Minister of Social Development and Human Security, along with experts from government agencies and leading business organizations including the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization, the Thailand Board of Investment, the Mae Fah Luang Foundation, PTT, SCG, Toyota, CPN, and ESG experts from MUFG, the World Bank, and Krungsri. Together, they share their visions, ideas, and solutions for companies transitioning to more sustainable options. This event also catalyzes the advancement of sustainability initiatives at both national and regional levels across the Asia-Pacific.
