Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) strengthens its mobility ecosystem by joining forces with
ShopeeFood, Shopee’s online food delivery service, and
Etran Company Limited (ETRAN), a Thai start-up developer of electric motorcycles, to launch a special promotion campaign for ShopeeFood riders who register to rent an electric motorcycle, “ETRAN Myra” model, under the package of
“Will You Rent a MYRA?” and pay the rent through Krungsri account. In alignment with Krungsri Ecosystem and One Retail strategies, this collaboration can save fuel costs for riders and helps tackle climate change crisis with clean energy from using electric motorcycles. It also helps expand the customer base of Krungsri accounts with the wide base of ShopeeFood riders. This marks a major step of Krungsri in driving towards the goal of being a trusted partner for customers through the enhancement of its mobility ecosystem while promoting the popularity of electric vehicles which will lead to environmental sustainability, in alignment with Krungsri’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) mission.
The “Will You Rent a MYRA?” campaign is a special collaboration among Krungsri, ShopeeFood and ETRAN to offer an exclusive package of electric motorcycle rental for food delivery to ShopeeFood riders in preparation for the rising demands during the upcoming Shopee 9.9 วันช้อปแห่งปี (Wan Shop Hang Pee): Super Shopping Day. The riders will benefit from lower operational expenses and help reduce air pollution by using electric vehicles, which is in line with the direction of the government and the 3 partners.

Under the Krungsri Ecosystem and One Retail strategies which aim to create innovative financial solutions that meet customer needs, the special privileges will hopefully bring in new retail customers from ShopeeFood’s riders’ base. In addition, the collaboration of Krungsri, ShopeeFood and ETRAN in offering special privileges to ShopeeFood riders participating in this campaign is a major step of Krungsri in driving the mission of building a complete mobility ecosystem. Concurrently, the campaign also promotes the adoption of electric vehicles which does not only enable the riders to save on their petrol costs but also creates sustainability for the environment, in alignment with Krungsri’s vision of being a leader in ESG finance and supporting our customers, both business and personal, in their journey towards achieving their sustainability goals.
