Bangkok (14 July 2026) – Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) has expanded its support for SMEs under the Reinvent Thailand initiative with the launch of the “Krungsri SME Power Up” loan. The program is aimed at helping SMEs invest in enhancing their competitiveness through capacity expansion, machinery, digital technology, innovation, and environmentally friendly projects. It offers financing of up to 150 million baht, with a special interest rate of 3.5% per annum for the first two years and a repayment period of up to seven years, to support investment by businesses in targeted industries.
Ms. Duangkamol Limpuangthip, Krungsri Head of SME Banking Group, said, “Thai businesses are competing not only in the domestic market but also with companies around the world. Investing in productivity, technology, and operational efficiency is no longer optional—it is essential to remain competitive. Following the launch of the Krungsri SME Double Power Loan for micro and small enterprises under the Reinvent Thailand initiative, we are now introducing the “Krungsri SME Power Up” to support medium-sized SMEs undertaking larger-scale investments and seeking higher financing to strengthen their competitiveness. The name ‘Power Up’ reflects our belief that today’s entrepreneurs need more than funding—they need the confidence and momentum to transform their businesses and compete on the global stage.”
The “Krungsri SME Power Up” loan targets SMEs operating in key industries, including tourism, healthcare, smart electronics, wholesale and retail, logistics, agriculture, and agro-processing—sectors that play a key role in driving Thailand’s economic growth and require continued investment in productivity enhancement, technology adoption, and production upgrades to remain globally competitive. The loan offers financing of up to 150 million baht, a special interest rate of 3.5% per annum for the first two years, and a repayment period of up to seven years, providing businesses with sufficient funding for larger-scale investments while helping ease initial financing costs and support long-term investment planning.
