Krungsri Foundation presents 2 million baht to NIEM to strengthen Thailand’s emergency life-saving system.

Bangkok (22 April 2026) – Mr. Poonsit Wongthawatchai (left), Assistant Secretary of the Krungsri Foundation, presented 2 million baht to Dr. Pichet Nongchang (center), Secretary-General of the National Institute for Emergency Medicine (NIEM), during a funds presentation ceremony chaired by Mr. Pattana Promphat (right), Minister of Public Health, at the NIEM office.

The financial support will enhance the capacity to assist critically ill patients, ensuring faster and more equitable access to treatment, through the adoption of digital technology to comprehensively connect emergency medical networks nationwide—while elevating the standard of emergency medical services and reducing losses.
