Krungsri Foundation preserves Buddhist heritage with ceremony of mounting gable apex of sermon hall at Wat Choeng Tha in Ayutthaya

Bangkok (10 October 2025) - Than Phu Ying Sirikitiya Jensen graciously presided over the ceremony of installing an elaborately carved apex on the gable of the sermon hall at Wat Choeng Tha in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. The auspicious celebration was joined by Dr. Jamlong Atikul, (fourth from left), Vice Chairman, together with the Board Directors and senior executives of Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited and Krungsri Foundation, including senior executives from the Department of Fine Arts and relevant government agencies.

Renovation of the sermon hall at Wat Choeng Tha was granted a budget of 5.14 million baht from the Department of Fine Arts and a financial support of 2.75 million baht from Krungsri Foundation, reflecting the valuable synergy between the two organizations in preserving this religious site that serves as the heart of the community as well as a treasured national heritage.
