Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) moved forward on commercial enhancement for sustainable growth with a major online seminar,
Krungsri Business Forum 2022: What’s Next for Thailand? The seminar featured the topic of the future of Thai business in ASEAN in this digital era and was held exclusively for Krungsri’s commercial customers; SME customers, corporate customers and JPC/MNC customers. In the seminar, the guest speakers who are top executives from leading organizations in Thailand shared updates on megatrends in businesses, along with ASEAN expansion concept and strategy for Thai businesses. The online seminar took place on Thursday 10th February 2022.
Mr. Seiichiro Akita, Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer gave an opening remark and presented Krungsri’ s readiness to drive the growth of business partners in ASEAN. “The Covid-19 pandemic has caused economic recession in many parts of the world. However, on the other hand, it has also accelerated the growth of many preexisting megatrends that open doors for businesses, in particular, regional commerce and investment, exponential growth of digital and sustainable business. These changes are considered challenges for businesses to keep up with. Mr. Roongrote Rangsiyopash, President & CEO, SCG who shared his view on digital transformation and sustainability in businesses; why these two global megatrends were challenges, and at the same time, became growth opportunities for Thai businesses in ASEAN. He also gave his insightful advice for Thai corporates wishing to expand at a regional level.
Mr. Aswin Techajareonvikul, Chief Executive Officer & President of Berlie Jucker Public Company Limited and Big C Supercenter Public Company Limited, also shared the success lesson on how BJC Big C Group expanded to ASEAN and analyzed the market opportunities for Thai businesses along with trends that would change the world.
Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor for Tourism Authority of Thailand gave his speech on digital tourism and how to create sustainability in Thai tourism.
