Bangkok (4 November 2026) –
Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL and its business units) has unveiled its strategic direction for driving its business through technology and innovation at
Krungsri Tech Day 2026: Simplifying Life, Shifting Business with AI. Held for the fifth consecutive year in collaboration with leading technology partners, the event underscored Krungsri’s commitment to leveraging AI as a key driver of business operations, with a focus on enhancing customer experiences, improving operational efficiency, and unlocking new business opportunities. It also showcased practical applications and solutions demonstrating how technology can deliver tangible value to customers and businesses.
Mr. Kenichi Yamato, Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer, said in his opening address at Krungsri Tech Day 2026, “Krungsri believes that the true value of technology lies not only in its innovation but also in its practical and appropriate application to simplify lives, enhance work efficiency, and create business opportunities. This is particularly relevant to AI, which is transforming both the way people live and the way businesses operate. What matters most is how we turn AI’s potential into practical solutions that deliver meaningful results, while choosing the right technologies to meet the needs of individuals and organizations. Against this backdrop,
Krungsri Tech Day 2026 serves as a platform that brings together knowledge, fresh perspectives, real-world applications, and solutions from Krungsri and our technology partners. Our aim is to help participants apply technology effectively in their work and businesses, while fostering collaboration to unlock new opportunities and drive sustainable growth together.”
Ms. Saisunee Hanprathueangsil, Krungsri Chief Information and Digital Officer said, “Krungsri is committed to driving its business forward through technology and innovation to deliver experiences that truly meet customers’ needs, in line with our brand promise, ‘Make Life Simple.’ Our Information Technology and Digital Team serves as both a Value Creator and a Business Partner, supporting all of Krungsri’s business units in harnessing the potential of technology, including AI, to create value for customers, employees, and the business. This also enables greater agility in developing and bringing new products and services to market, enhancing operational efficiency, and unlocking new business opportunities.”
“To advance this direction, Krungsri is focusing on three interconnected strategic priorities: creating seamless customer-first experiences through digital services and an Open Ecosystem; driving enterprise-wide transformation through data and AI to enhance productivity and unlock new business opportunities; and building a strong, secure, and future-ready technology foundation.”
Connecting Digital Services for a Seamless Customer Experience
Krungsri embraces a Customer-First approach, placing customers at the heart of its digital service development. The Bank is committed to enhancing the financial services experience to better meet customers’ evolving needs at every stage of their journey, making every interaction across digital channels simpler, more convenient, and more seamless under the concept of “ONE Connected Experience.” Customers can access services through a single-entry point, while integrated backend systems seamlessly connect data and processes to simplify service delivery, without compromising security and reliability.
To bring this vision to life, Krungsri has brought its services together through the One Krungsri App, making it easier for customers to access a wider range of services in one place. Alongside this initiative, the Bank continues to expand digital connectivity and partnerships through its Open Ecosystem, connecting financial services with a broader range of platforms. AI is also being leveraged to further enhance digital service development, improve operational efficiency, and deliver more personalized experiences that better address customers’ needs.
Scaling AI Capabilities Across the Organization
Krungsri is driving AI adoption under the concept “Think Big, Start Small, Scale Fast.” The Bank believes that realizing the full value of AI goes beyond technology alone; it depends on the ability to bring together people, processes, and technology in an integrated and effective way, supported by an appropriate governance framework. To this end, Krungsri is establishing a standardized, enterprise-wide data and AI foundation to enable the rapid, secure, and sustainable development and scaling of AI applications, while preparing the organization for future growth.
At the core of this strategy are two complementary enterprise-wide platforms: the Unified Data Platform, which integrates data across the organization into a trusted, reliable foundation ready to support further AI development; and AI Kitchen, Krungsri’s centralized AI platform, designed to shift from fragmented, business-unit-specific AI development toward shared AI capabilities and services that can be reused across multiple products, channels, and business functions. Both platforms operate under consistent standards for governance, security, and regulatory compliance. This integrated approach helps eliminate duplication, enhance agility, reduce costs, and accelerate the realization of business value from AI across the enterprise.
Over the long term, Krungsri aims to make AI an integral part of its core business capabilities, embedding it into key processes across the organization, from customer service and credit assessment to risk management and operational activities. This will help enhance operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and elevate customer experiences, while accelerating the Bank’s transformation into an organization that fully harnesses the potential of AI to drive sustainable growth for Krungsri and its subsidiaries.
Building a Future-Ready Technology Foundation
Krungsri is strengthening its technology infrastructure, operational processes, and workforce capabilities to prepare for the future and support the enterprise-wide adoption of AI. The Jupiter Program is one of the Bank’s ongoing initiatives driving this transformation, focusing on modernizing its Core Banking system and technology architecture while reducing system complexity. In parallel, Krungsri is adopting automation and AI to improve workforce productivity and enhance system development processes. These initiatives include developing an AI framework for the Software Development Life Cycle (AI in SDLC) based on a Human-in-the-Loop approach, as well as leveraging AI to support more effective system governance and integration.
Krungsri Tech Day 2026 marked its fifth consecutive year under the theme “
Simplifying Life, Shifting Business with AI.” Organized in collaboration with leading technology partners, including Accenture, AWS, Cisco, HPE, IBM, Kyndryl, NTT DATA Thailand, Dynatrace, G-Able, MFEC, Microsoft, YIPINTSOI NEXT Co., Ltd., Adobe, Atlassian, Bluebik Group PLC., Cohesity (Thailand), Nutanix, Palo Alto Networks, PALO IT, and Red Hat, the event aimed to broaden perspectives and share practical insights into AI adoption through panel discussions and presentations showcasing real-world applications. Participants also had opportunities to experience emerging technologies, explore solutions, and consult with experts through a range of activities, including the AI & Technology Exhibition, Workshops, and the Business Clinic. These activities highlighted AI’s potential to enhance operational efficiency, address business challenges, and unlock new opportunities tailored to the specific needs and contexts of each organization.
“Krungsri would like to thank all our partners and participants for being part of Krungsri Tech Day 2026. We sincerely hope that this platform will serve as a starting point for further exchanges of ideas and collaboration, enabling us to harness the potential of AI to develop new solutions that address evolving needs and embrace emerging opportunities in an increasingly technology-driven business world,”
Ms. Saisunee concluded.
