Krungsri announces appointment of Head of JPC/MNC Banking

Bangkok (30 July 2020) – Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL and its business units), a member of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), Japan’s largest financial group, and one of the world’s largest financial groups, announced the appointment of Mr. Yoshiyuki Horio as Head of Japanese Corporate and Multinational Banking (JPC/MNC Banking).

Mr. Horio has more than 25 years of experience in corporate banking business. In 1995, he joined Sanwa Bank, which is currently a part of MUFG Bank. Prior to joining Krungsri, Mr. Horio assumed the position of Managing Director, Head of Japanese Corporate Banking Division of MUFG Bank, Hong Kong Branch, overseeing corporate banking services for Japanese customers with operations in Hong Kong and South China.

As the Head of JPC/MNC Banking, Mr. Horio will bring his extensive experience and expertise, as well as a deep understanding of customer needs, to take care and provide services to corporate customers, reinforcing Krungsri’s leadership in Thailand’s Japanese corporate market. In addition, Mr. Horio will play a major role in leveraging synergies between Krungsri and MUFG to build a strong network of Japanese companies, multinational companies and Thailand-based businesses, which will help drive the overall economy and the sustainable growth across all sectors.

Mr. Horio graduated with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineer from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.
