Bangkok (18 December 2020) – Mr. Dan Harsono (top-row, right), Krungsri Head of Retail and Consumer Banking, and Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran (top-row, center), President of Assumption University, launched AU Spark e-Wallet for university students. Jointly developed by Krungsri and Assumption University, the e-wallet enables the university students to make cashless payments, funds transfers, and bill payments at the university’s stores and nearby shops such as bookstores, libraries, the Office of Registrar, and dormitories, with greater convenience, ease and swiftness. The AU Spark e-Wallet has been developed as an additional feature of the AU Spark application already used by the university’s students, professors, and faculty members to facilitate their daily activities, such as accessing news, information of activities, learning programs, group work outside of class, learning registration, paying tuition and registration fees, etc. The collaboration between Krungsri and Assumption University has been an exemplary solution for a cashless society and completely served the digital lifestyle of university students.
The financial innovation, AU Spark e-Wallet, highlights strong ties between Krungsri and Assumption University. Previously, Krungsri opened a new branch model, under the concept “Partnership Branch @Assumption University”, offering financial services and co-working space.
