Krungsri PayAlert offers electronic alerts for transfers/payment of goods and services. The party receiving the alert (Payer/Receiver) and the businesses/merchants (Payee/Sender) must first register for PromptPay service to ensure ease of use and quick service, so as not to miss any critical payments.

  • Regular customers who have registered for PromptPay service on their mobile phone or with their national ID number.
  • Businesses/merchants that have registered for PromptPay service with their tax ID and/or Biller ID (Bill payment across banks).
For businesses/distributors (B2B/B2C), this means:
The alert for payment will be sent to payer/merchant,
Cash transactions will be reduced (Cashless), Deposits are made in real-time,
Details of payment and payment alerts are displayed in real-time and can be reviewed immediately both in the mobile application and on internet banking services.

For the payer of Products/Services (Buyer), PayAlert means :
No more missing of payments,
Reduced possible transaction mistakes,
Transactions can be approved by the merchants anytime and anywhere.
Payments are secured as all transactions must be pre-approved before actual transfers are made.
Details of payment and payment alerts are displayed in real-time and can be reviewed immediately both in the mobile application and on internet banking services.
  1. Customer must have a Krungsri savings/current bank account that will be used for transfer or payment of good and services.
  2. Customer must register for PromptPay service.
  3. Customer must apply for PayAlert service, of which there are two types
    • In applying to be the Receiver: For customers making payment for products and services, PromptPay registration is required.
    • In applying to be the Sender: For businesses/merchants, application for interbank bill payment service with Krungsri is required.
  4. Customers select between “Sender” or “Receiver”, or both “Sender” and “Receiver”
  5. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  6. Fees are as determined by bank announcement (Krungsri reserves the right to collect or change service fees for PayAlert as required. The bank will announce or notify the service user prior to any changes on the website or at the branch. If the customer still uses Krungsri PayAlert after the changes are enforced, it is deemed that the customer accepts the fee payment or change of fee, as the case may be)
