  • In case of age 1-14 years old. Insured Person can get the maximum coverage for all insurance plans as follows
    • a. Accidental Death, Dismemberment and Total Permanent Disability at 1,000,000 baht
    • b. Overseas Medical Expenses from accident & sickness at 2,000,000 baht, other covers shall be as the selected plan
  • For Annual Trip, unlimited trip is offered but maximum 90 consecutive days for each trip.
  • Insured person must begin the journey from Thailand
  • Insured person must have a good health, no any disabilities and not traveling for medical treatment
  • This policy does not cover the travel to or within Afghanistan, Cuba, Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, Nicaragua, North Korea, Palestine, Seria and Nepal (strictly in the event that the insured undertakes a journey or engages in mountaineering, climbing, hiking, or trekking activities at an altitude of 3,000 meters or more above sea level)

Krungsri Simple Sure travel insurance can be purchase through 2 channels below

The coverage will begin after Sompo Insurance Thailand have received the payment for the premium.
The maximum insured for each policy will be 5 person. If you would like to have 6-10 person, you will have to separate into 2 policies.
1. Through a saving account or credit card that is registered to KMA krungsri app
2. Through credit card Visa, Mastercard, JCB via www.krungsri.com
Krungsri Simple Sure travel insurance cannot be use for tax reduction.
Insured can only choose 1 plan per transaction. In case you would like to choose a different plan, another transaction will have to be made.
You may state it as the following 01/01/year of birth (according to the national ID).

In case you have to be treated as an inpatient (IPD), rest assure as Sompo Insurance Thailand will take care of the expenses. In caes you are treated as an out-patient (OPD) in our network hospital for travellers travelling to Japan, rest assure as Sompo Insurance Thailand will take care of the expenses.

However, if you are treated as an out-patient in other countries apart from Japan. You will have to pay upfront and reimburse back later with the receipt and medical certicate.

You have to state the date departing from Thailand as stated on your place ticket and the arrival date in Thailand.
You may still purchase the travel insurance. However, congenital disease will not be covered under the policy as it falls under pre-existing condition. All other illness and accident will still be covered.
You may purchase 6 months or 180 days in advance and at least 2 hours before travelling.
Single trip only cover for a certain trip. For Annual trip it will cover multiple trip within 1 year. However, for each trip could not exceed 90 days.
Insured who have permanent resindency in Thailand and age of 1-75 years old.
The insured age 1-14 years old will receive the coverage of Accidental Death, Dismemberment, Loss of Sight or Total Permanent Disability up to 1 million Baht and Medical expense up to 2 million Baht.
Insured travelling to Japan will receive special privilege if they incur accident or need assistance by just dialing back to us at +662-205-7775 everyday 24 hours.

Travel insurance are necessary for travellers as they don't just have coverage for Death and Medical expense. Travel insurance also cover for 24 hours emergency assistance and expand the coverage for Flight delays and Baggage and Personal belonging delays or damage.
