Krungsri EDC (Electronic Data Capture) is the tool for payment of goods or services via credit/debit cards. With millions of credit/debit cards in Thailand and around the world, Krungsri EDC service offers another distribution channel and growth opportunity in addition to cash payment.
  • Krungsri EDC service enables payment for products/services via VISA, MasterCard, JCB and UPI credit/debit cards issued by every financial institution around the world and also supports technology contactless payment.
  • Krungsri Mail Order service enables payment for goods and/or deposits for services by mail or telephone.
  • Krungsri Recurring service allows payment for products/services on a periodical basis such as monthly or annual membership fee.
  • Krungsri DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) facilitates payment for products/services by converting THB currency to that of credit card issuers. This service is available for 13 currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, SGD, HKD, AUD, CHF, CNY, DKK, NOK, SEK and THB.

  1. Merchants hold Krungsri savings or current account.
  2. Merchants offer products/services which are neither illegal nor unethical. Examples of illegal and unethical businesses are as follows:
    • Sales of all types of additive substances
    • Sales of corrupted products, pornographic media, and matchmaking business
    • Sales of weapons/gambling
  3. Business is credible and has workplace located in Thailand.
  4. Shareholders have good financial records.
  5. In case customers reject to make payments, merchants consent that Krungsri debits the said payment from the merchant’s account. In this regard, Krungsri will inform merchants of the matter prior to debiting.
  1. Copy of ID card of business owner/authorized signatory (20 years of age and higher)
  2. For foreigners, a copy of valid passport and work permit
  3. Business documentation
    • Ordinary person
      copy of commercial registration certificate or trade certificate, provided that the registration period is of not less than 6 months
    • Juristic person
      copy of company affidavit or limited partnership affidavit and Article of Association, provided that the registration period is of not less than 6 months (the date of the copy is not exceeding 6 months)
    • Ordinary partnership/ Group of person
      • Copy of commercial registration certificate or trade certificate, provided that the registration period is of not less than 6 months
      • Copy of ordinary partnership registration certificate or group of persons registration certificate
  4. Copy of VAT ID Registration (Por Por 20) (for juristic person)
  5. Copy of Krungsri savings or current account
  6. THB 30 duty stamp (for juristic person who would like to assign the Bank as intermediary remitting the withholding tax)
  7. For specific business, additional documents are required to submit as follows:
    • For travel agent, provide a copy of travel agency license issued by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
    • Hospitals/clinics are required to submit following documents
      • Copy of medical license
      • Copy of health care operation license
      • Copy of health care facility license
    • Schools are required to submit a copy of school license issued by the Ministry of Education
    • Insurance agents are required to submit following documents
      • Copy of insurance agent license
      • Copy of insurance premium collection agent certification issued by insurance company
