Qualifications of KRUNGSRI PRIME customers and conditions
  • The individual aged 15 and above deposits and/or invest mutual fund between one but less than five million baht OR purchase life insurance products as per the bank's condition.
  • Asset under management calculation
- The deposit and investment are calculated from average outstanding in the accounts of the last 6 months.
- Life insurance is calculate from policy with premium 200,000 THB but less than 500,000 THB under the same name and same time of purchase (not allow to split policy and except mortgage reducing term assurance). Customer will entitle to get PRIME status after pass free look period and entitle to receive privileges for 3 years.
  • In case that the customers cannot maintain the deposit or mutual fund under BAY’s conditions or cancel life insurance, BAY has the right to immediately terminate the status of KRUNGSRI PRIME customer without prior notice.
  • In case of joint deposit account, BAY reserves the right to offer the status of KRUNGSRI PRIME customer to the primary account holder only.
  • BAY reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of KRUNGSRI PRIME status and benefits without prior notice.

How to apply for KRUNGSRI PRIME

      Q1: Who are KRUNGSRI PRIME customers?
        A: KRUNGSRI PRIME customers are individual customers who deposits and/or invest mutual fund between one but less than five million baht OR purchase life insurance products as per the bank's condition.

      Q2: If I am interested in becoming a KRUNGSRI PRIME customer, what should I do?
        A: Simply deposit the money and/or invest in Krungsri Asset Management Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) mutual funds via Bank of Ayudhya PCL. (“the Bank”) from one million but less than five million baht. You need to maintain the average account balance for at least six months. OR Purchase life insurance as per the bank’s condition.

      Q3: After having the money and/or investment between one million but less than five million baht as requested, how can I receive the invitation to join KRUNGSRI PRIME?
        A: The Bank will send SMS to qualified customer within seven business days after he/she has met KRUNGSRI PRIME requirements. The customer will then able to download KRUNGSRI PRIME Mobile Application and register to enjoy the benefits.

      Q4: What are the benefits that KRUNGSRI PRIME customers will get?
        A: The customers will receive various privileges from Krungsri to serve their following needs:
            -   Financial privileges, such as waived fees of cheque books, gift cheques and cashier cheques
            -   Lifestyle privileges, such as fitness, dining, watching movies, discount and etc.
            -   Financial planning privileges, with Plan Your Money team giving financial advice
            -   Privileges on special occasions, such as birthday, seminars and concerts

      Q5: How to calculate the asset under management of KRUNGSRI PRIME customers?
        A: It is calculated from the average account balance in the past six months.

      Q6: If I buy the Company’s mutual funds totaling one million baht via agents, but not directly from the Bank, will KRUNGSRI PRIME take this amount into consideration?
        A: No. This amount does not count. The Bank reserves the right for the customers who buy Krungsri mutual funds over the Bank’s counters only.

      Q7: What are the qualifications of KRUNGSRI PRIME customers?
        A: Below are the qualifications of KRUNGSRI PRIME customers:
            -   The individual aged 15 and above deposits and/or invest mutual fund between one but less than five million baht OR purchase life insurance products as per the bank's condition.
            -   Asset under management calculation

Steps to register with KRUNGSRI PRIME Mobile Application

      Q18: What are the customers required to do when registering with KRUNGSRI PRIME Mobile Application?
          A: - Thai customers must fill in the citizen ID number and deposit account number or unit holder number.
                  - Foreign customers must fill in the Passport number and deposit account number or unit holder number.

      Q19: If I have many account numbers, which number I should use for the registration?
          A: You can use one number from any accounts for the registration.

      Q20: What are the likely cases where the customers fail in registration?
          A: In the case that the customers fill in the incorrect ID number or account number or don’t have PRIME status.

      Q21: If I unsuccessfully register for the application, what text will appear on the screen?
          A: You will find the text: “Please check your citizen ID number and deposit account number or unit holder number.”

      Q22: If I unsuccessfully register for the application, what should I do?
          A: You must contact contact center at 1572 to check if you are entitled to use the application. Only the customers with PRIME status can register for the application.

      Q23: Steps to register with KRUNGSRI PRIME will be complete only when:
          A: The customer fills in the telephone number (username), sets up six-digit password, and accepts the conditions.

      Q24: How to set up the password of KRUNGSRI PRIME Mobile Application
          A: The customer can set up the password using six-digit numbers.

      Q25: For the registration, do I have to provide the same telephone number as the one I previously gave to the Bank?
          A: There is no need. You can fill the updated contact number, which is different from the one previously given to the Bank.

      Q26: What should I do for the next access?
          A: You do not need to register again. Just log in with the telephone number and six-digit password you previously filled when registering for the application.

      Q27: What are username and password?
          A: Username is the telephone number the customer fills in when registering for the application.
                  Password is the six-digit number the customer sets when registering for the application.

      Q28: What should I do if I forget the username and/or password?
          A: You can press Forget Password to reset the new one.

The use of privileges

      Q29: Can I use the privilege right after registering?
         
A: You can immediately use the privilege at the participating shops or points of service.

      Q30: How can I use the privileges?
         
A: You may receive the privileges by category in KRUNGSRI PRIME Mobile Application. You must press the button to redeem and receive the code or reserve the privilege before showing the code to the staff at the point of service.

      Q31: How to redeem the privileges?
         
A: You may receive privileges via KRUNGSRI PRIME Mobile Application by following the below steps:
-   Select the privilege by category.
-   Press the button to redeem the privileges at the stores.
-   After pressing the button to redeem the privileges, the text will appear, asking the customer to confirm or cancel the request.
-   After you press the button to confirm the request, the code will appear on the mobile screen for 10 minutes.
-   After receiving the code, please show it to receive the products or services at the participating shops or places.

      Q32: How can I know which shops participate in the campaign?
         
A: You may check the shops and the conditions on KRUNGSRI PRIME Mobile Application.

      Q33: Why can’t I press the button to receive the privilege?
         
A: That may be because you already used the privilege or have reached the pool quota limit.

      Q34: If I already pressed the button to receive the privilege, can I keep the privilege or can I press the button to get the privilege again?
         
A: If you press the button but do not use the privilege within the timeline, the Bank will consider that you forfeit the right and cannot receive the same privilege again.

      Q35: If I accidentally close the window that displays the code before claiming the privilege, will I lose the right?
         
A: When you close the window that displays the code, the warning text will appear. If you insist to close the window, the Bank will consider that you already used that privilege and will immediately lose the right.

      Q36: What should I do to use the financial privileges, such as waived fees of cheque books and/or gift cheques or cashier’s cheques?
         
A: You must redeem via KRUNGSRI PRIME Mobile Application to receive the privilege. After that, Krungsri staff will contact you and deliver the coupons, which you will show to Krungsri staff to receive the cheque books, gift cheques and/or cashier’s cheques.

      Q37: If I do not have any current account, can I use the privilege to receive the cheque book?
         
A: The customer must have the current account with Krungsri to earn a free cheque book.

      Q38: How long will the coupon for cheque books and/or gift cheques or cashier’s cheques last?
         
A: The expiry date is indicated on the coupon (One year).

The demotion of KRUNGSRI PRIME status

      Q40: The status of KRUNGSRI PRIME customer will be demoted only when:
         
A: The conditions of demotion
  • The demotion of customers is carried out every 6 months.
  • The Bank will then inform the customer to increase asset under management to maintain Krungsri PRIME status.
  • In case that KRUNGSRI PRIME customer cannot maintain the status as conditioned, the Bank has the right to terminate his/her status without prior notice.

      Q41: If I have been demoted from KRUNGSRI PRIME, can I still use the privileges via KRUNGSRI PRIME Mobile Application?
         
A: The Bank reserves the right for KRUNGSRI PRIME customers only.
