Pay with the card
Customers pay for products /service with credit card / debit card

Insert or swipe card
Merchant inserts in or swipes card through Krungsri EDC machine to submit request for transaction approval from issuing banks.

Issuing banks proceeds with the online real-time authorization

Krungsri EDC 
Transaction confirmation signing
As the transaction is approved, the result will appear on the Krungsri EDC machine screen and 2 sets of sales slips are printed.
  • Merchant copy : To be signed by customers. Merchant is to compare the signature with the back of the card and keep the sales slip as evidence (at least 18 months)
  • Customer copy : To be given to customers along with the credit / debit card.

Merchant submits daily settlement summary to Krungsri before 23.00 hr.

Required documents
  1. Copy of ID card of business owner / authorized signatory (20 years of age and higher)
  2. For foreigners, a copy of valid passport and work permit
  3. Business documentation
    • Individual: copy of commercial registration certificate or trade certificate, provided that the registration period is of not less than 6 months
    • Juristic person: copy of company affidavit or limited partnership affidavit and Article of Association, provided that the registration period is of not less than 6 months (the date of the copy is not exceeding 6 months)
    • Ordinary partnership / body of persons- general type
      • Copy of commercial registration certificate or trade certificate, provided that the registration period is of not less than 6 months
      • Copy of ordinary partnership registration certificate or body of persons registration certificate
  4. For travel agent, provide a copy of travel agency license issued by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
  5. Hospitals / clinics are required to submit the following documents
    • Copy of medical license
    • Copy of health care operation license
    • Copy of health care facility license
  6. Schools are required to submit a copy of school license issued by the Ministry of Education
  7. Insurance agents are required to submit the following documents
    • Copy of insurance agent license
    • Copy of insurance premium collection agent  certification issued by insurance company
  8.  Copy of VAT ID Registration (Por Por 20) (for juristic person)
  9. Copy of Krungsri savings or current account
  10. Power of Attorney sealed with THB 30 duty stamp (for juristic person who would like to assign the Bank as intermediary remitting the withholding tax.)
  1. All documents are to be signed, certified, and stamped with entity seal.
