Bangkok (18 December 2019) –
Mr. Seiichiro Akita, center,
Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer, presented a 1-million-baht donation to
Mr. Narong Apichai, second right,
Director, CSE Field Operations of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation. Mr. Akita also led Krungsri senior management and staff, as well as volunteers from the Bank’s business partners, in building 32 check dams at the Doi Tung Development Project, Mae Fah Luang District, Chiang Rai.
Since 2009, Krungsri has supported the foundation by donating a totaling 14.8 million baht and building 262 check dams for sustainable water conservation, as well as flood prevention and control.
